Tranquillium is dedicated to helping individuals enhance their communication skills within relationships to resolve conflict. Our process aims to strengthen bonds by fostering resilience, healing deep-seated wounds, and rebuilding trust. We focus on developing coping strategies in conflict management while promoting healthy interactions, individual growth, and self-awareness. We strive to accomplish this through various therapeutic approaches:

  • Family Systems Therapy: This evaluates disruptive communication patterns that negatively impact family relationships.

  • Functional Family Therapy: This approach helps families identify and address maladaptive behaviors in children.

  • Short-Term Solution-Focused Therapy: This strategy targets destructive behaviors that hinder healthy relationships and seeks to identify strengths that can lead to engagement.

  • Family Team Meetings/Structured Decision-Making: A structured, facilitated method that creates a platform for individuals and families to collaboratively tackle complex decisions.
Dr. Bernadette Boozer is a licensed social worker, licensed marriage and family therapist, and clinical psychologist and has been working with children and adults for over thirty years. She has a wealth of experience working in crisis services as an executive leader and specializes in, but is not limited to, trauma, anxiety, family conflicts, feelings of inadequacy, and grief and loss.

Clients who are committed to honesty and are seeking opportunities to push themselves outside of their comfort zones and are enhanced in structured approaches leading to wellness. Through the use of therapeutic modalities and facilitated discussions and engagement, efforts are made to construct strategies that can be systematically used for healing and wellness.
Dr. Boozer is also accepting MFT supervisees and post-master's therapists for clinical supervision. Schedules and groups are being formed now.
